Emily is a trial lawyer whose practice is focused on general civil litigation and family law litigation. In the area of family law, Emily represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, complex business valuations and asset and debt apportionment, division of retirement and pension plan assets, custody, visitation, child support, alimony, guardianship. She has a special interest in the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act cases and advises clients on how to navigate the complexity of the Act.  Emily has experience in and out of the courtroom and exercises a pragmatic and systematic approach to obtain the best possible outcome for her clients. She practices in all of Oklahoma state and federal courts, and has experience litigating in the Seminole Nation, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Emily graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her bachelor’s in English Literature and Cultural Studies, with a minor in Non-Profit Management. She is a 2018 Oklahoma City University School of Law graduate, where she was awarded several scholarships, and recognitions for her achievements. Emily’s achievements have earned her inclusion in Oklahoma Super Lawyers.

Emily previously worked at a large regional law firm before returning home to Rubenstein & Pitts.
